About Us

Daybreak Construction Specialties, Inc

     Daybreak Construction Specialties, Inc; was started in Ohio over thirty-five years ago as a service company in the construction field and remains as such today. Our services range from small repairs, adjustments and installations to remodeling, renovation, and construction of residential, commercial, agricultural and commercial steel buildings. We have been serving the same clients for as long as 30 years in the Glenwood Springs area.

     Daybreak Construction Specialties, Inc; is a complete construction management and consulting company. Dana has been asked to and has written troubleshooting articles for Professional Builder, a professional trade magazine. Solving challenging problems on the job site is crucial and we pride ourselves in being able to get the problem solved efficiently and quickly to avoid additional costs and delays.

     Some of our larger projects have been construction of an 11,000 square foot church, a 38,000 warehouse complex, the renovation of two separate large buildings into shopping malls, the renovation of three buildings for an automotive dealership, remodel of the local Walmart store, and new construction of 2 twenty unit town homes. We have built numerous pole barns, stables and various out buildings. We have remodeled and built many custom homes in addition to construction and management of spec homes. Our renovations have included many historic buildings in the area. We have even moved a complete home to a new location.

     As a result of the many commercial and residential projects, we have been called back by the client for service work in terms of maintenance, installation, additions, or new appliances, insurance work, fencing and even trapping of animals that were destroying property of one of our clients. As a result, our clients will speak for our integrity and durability. On the Projects Tab you will see listed some of our projects from present to past spanning over 30 years in this area.

     Before coming to the Glenwood Springs area Dana managed the construction of a mile and a half long tunnel project in Littleton, CO as well as numerous new construction and remodels both residential and commercial in the Ohio area.

     Daybreak Construction's office is conveniently located just off of the I-70 interchange at New Castle, Colorado, right in the middle of our working territory. We monitor projects from start to finish, tracking job costs by project phases so that any overruns are brought to our attention immediately. This also allows us to show savings to our clients in the various phases of the project.

     Due to our presence in the valley for so many years and our involvement in such a diverse range of projects and our community, we have established a good working relationship with the local suppliers, banks, materials handlers, subcontractors and building departments up and down the valley. These relationships have allowed us to be able to build and remodel for very competitive rates with excellent results in the final projects.
